The Karaoke Desk Asks One Thing Before They Hand You a Room.
To say Two hours, please. in Japanese, say 二時間でお願いします (nijikan de onegai shimasu).
You walked in for karaoke, and before anybody gives you a room there is one question waiting at the desk. It is about time.
Why this phrase
A karaoke reception role play. Hana plays the front desk staff asking 「何時間にされますか？」, how many hours would you like; Kōfuku answers 「二時間でお願いします」, two hours please. The useful part is the 「〜でお願いします」 slot: swap the number for another length of time, or for a size, a drink, or a payment method, and the same sentence still works.
