- 確認お願いします。 kakunin onegai shimasu. Confirmation, please.
Why this phrase
Kōfuku plays the tourist, Hana plays the tax-free kiosk staff at a Japanese airport. From 1 November the discount no longer happens at the till: you pay full price in the shop, and the airport kiosk, which sits land-side before you drop your bags, is where the refund actually happens. One word turns the whole flow: 「確認」 (kakunin), meaning check. Scan the passport, confirm the goods: green screen, you're done; red screen, you show customs the goods.
