To say Excuse me, could you move this? in Japanese, say すみません、これ動かしてもらえますか？ (sumimasen, kore ugokashite moraemasu ka?).
You have fed the claw machine two thousand yen and the prize is now lying flat against the glass where nothing can grab it. The person who can fix that is standing ten feet away.
Why this phrase
Kofuku plays the player who has clearly been losing; Hana plays the game centre attendant. He waves her over with 「すみません」 and asks 「これ動かしてもらえますか？」, she resets the box, he wins. Two things to keep straight so nobody gets a flat no. Resetting a prize that has fallen somewhere unwinnable is completely routine and staff will almost always do it. Making it EASIER than it was is a favour, not a right, and some arcades post that they do not do it. Ask after you have actually played, not before. Never call staff with 店員さん, which marks you instantly; use 「すみません」 or the call button on the cabinet. Staff at the big chains often come to you first with 「お手伝いしましょうか？」.
