Why this phrase
tourist-cash-atm covers the 'cash only' sign and the 7-Bank ATM, but not the older-school 'currency exchange counter' question — which still matters at airport counters, post offices and downtown banks. 'Ryougae dekimasu ka?' is the missing piece in the cash/money survival cluster.
