To say iced, please in Japanese, say アイスでお願いします (aisu de onegai shimasu).
It's 35 degrees Celsius, you order a coffee, and the staff fire a question back at you. You already know the answer. You freeze anyway.

Why this phrase
A Tokyo cafe counter in August. Hana plays the barista who asks 「ホットとアイス、どちらになさいますか？」, hot or iced, and Kōfuku plays the customer who answers アイスでお願いします. It's a forced-choice question, so the whole reply is one word plus でお願いします, and that pattern works for any choice a shop hands you.
