- 6月の日本、実は「第6の季節」があるよ。 Rokugatsu no Nihon, jitsu wa “dairoku no kisetsu” ga aru yo. June in Japan has a hidden 'sixth season' — here's the word for it.
- これが「梅雨」。毎日のように雨が降るんだ。 Kore ga “tsuyu.” Mainichi no yō ni ame ga furu n da. This is 'tsuyu' — the rainy season. It rains almost every day.
- 「傘」を忘れずに。コンビニで買えるよ。 “Kasa” o wasurezu ni. Konbini de kaeru yo. Don't forget a 'kasa' (umbrella) — grab a clear one at any konbini.
- お店の入口で、傘に袋をかけてね。 O-mise no iriguchi de, kasa ni fukuro o kakete ne. At shop entrances, slip your wet umbrella into the plastic sleeve.
